I love having a machine that "does it all" and saves me storage/counter space. That said, there are annoyances:1. The glass turntable scrapes and drags, apparently because the bumps on the bottom do not engage the slots in the Turntable Ring Assembly. This allows the Glass Turntable to move around and rub against the sides or bottom of the cavity. Hopefully the Seller can send a better-fitting Turntable.2. The process for running a function is unnecessarily complex. Pushing the button to select a function (microwave, broil, etc.) makes sense. Having to push another button to choose power level and then turn the knob turn the knob turn the knob to set the time is unwieldy. There should be a keypad entry for time.3. Same with temperature, and when a recipe calls for 380°F you have to choose between 375 or 400 since the temp changes in increments of 25°.4. I find it disingenuous that the Air Fry function only provides presets. When wanting to Air Fry something manually the book says to use Convection mode, since it is the same thing. ?Let me tell you this thing cooks. I read some reviews complaining about moisture accumulation during microwaving. This is a good thing not a bad thing. It traps all the moisture in the cooking chamber so that it does not dry out the food. Microwaves work by heating up water molecules in the food. As they heat they vaporize. If it were completely dry, then all the moisture would have escaped or it doesn’t work. Once 100% humidity is reached it will stop drying out the food as the moisture would not evaporate. So again seeing moisture accumulation is good during microwave function.Broil bake works better than any countertop oven I have had. In fact it works almost as well as the top oven in my kitchenaid double oven that costs 4500$. I am just using this during the renovations. But I will definitely keep it to use in my new kitchen because it heats up so fast and is great for smaller items.Combi cook is pretty awesome. It uses the bake and microwave functions together. It keeps things crispy on the outside while quickly heating them to the core.Defrost is also fantastic. Defrosts a full chicken breast without actually cooking any of it. Super great.I have not used the sensor cook function yet.The only con is that I don’t think it’s something children or anyone not intelligent enough about metal in a microwave. It comes with racks and such but you CANNOT use them in microwave function. They will spark. This is the reason I think most companies don’t make a microwave combo. User error. But if you are smart enough not to be dumb then you will love it.If you are a foodie cook on a budget, you will love this product! This unit does EVERYTHING at a great price. And then some. It has a true broiling element in its ceiling--you can see it glow red hot when BROIL is chosen. Air-fry is easy too. I love its total abilities to cook anything in all ways. It is narrow to take up less space. Lots of combo cook functions tooBUT...Its control panel is not intuitive about major uses, but with a little study it works perfectly.Written manual is brief and minimal and confusing===worst I have ever seen. Cookbook is pretty and colorful, but teaches nothing.I had to research other brands manuals, such as Samsung and GE to understand words and methods. and technology, but now my its best friend. Cancel button requires hard push. Now that I understand it, it is AMAZING. I love it.I have had the Toshiba 7-in-1 in my house for about a month now, and have allowed it to replace my Ninja Foodie 10-in-1 Pressure Cooker/Air Fryer and my Oster Countertop Convection Oven/Toaster (both of which I loved) as well as my microwave (which broke and sent me on this quest for a replacement).SIZE: This unit takes up a fair amount of counter space. You can get a smaller microwave or air frier. However, the fact that it microwaves, convection bakes, broils and air fries well has allowed it to replace other counter-top units (as noted above) and vastly expand my available counter space. It does toast bread okay, but not without flipping the bread (as far as I can figure out), and it is only capable of handling a couple (good size) slices of bread, so if your family loves toast, you will need a toaster. I should also say that I think this unit would be too small to function on its own in a large household. It is perfect for one or two people, but if I had to make steak, chicken or fries for a family of four, I would want a larger unit. But, that was true of my Ninja air frier as well.FUNCTION: I love that it is a multi-function unit, and as I said, it bakes, broils, air fries and microwaves well. It does this by offering you three levels to cook your food. The first is the regular glass "plate" that you will be used to in any mircowave. If you want to bake, you put in a low rack on the plate (which they provide of course) so that air can circulate around your baked goods without having the item too close to the top heating unit. To broil, you add the taller rack so the food is closer to the heating element. I have broiled with the tall rack while baking an item underneath it with good success as well. I have not used the yogurt making function, or any of the "Combi-Modes" as I have not needed to. Its one failing is that it does not defrost very well, but neither did my former microwave.INSTRUCTIONS/COOKBOOK: Very few instructions come with this unit and the "cookbook", for all its large size and colorful photos, is one of the worst I have seen. For this reason, I have deducted one star from my overall review. The company would really benefit from offering a cookbook that had recipes geared toward helping you understand how to use the Combi-Modes as well as the basic functions on the machine. I have a college degree in engineering, love to cook and have experience writing instruction manuals, and I have to say I don't know what they were thinking with this "Cookbook". Fortunately, the unit is easy to use and "dope out". Still, I am sure I am not taking advantage of all it has to offer because the manual is not user-friendly or creative. In short, if you are a small household or a student going into a dorm room, this unit will likely be perfect for you. I would buy it again, and I might even write a cookbook for it. LOL
