Works really well. Only time will tell if it will hold up. Electrician installed new outlet and tested microwave with the programming card inside and fried that unfortunately so idk how well that works. Bummed but not amazon’s fault. Not very happy with this Amazon brand. I was issued a full return even after my return window was closed so Amazon support was wonderful. Microwave stopped working at full power after three months. I did numerous factory resets called product support which handed me off to yes three different people who knew nothing about troubleshooting this item. If you're going to sell such an expensive item you would think they would know how to troubleshoot it. Not very happy with this Amazon product.Disliked no end ding.Works like basic commercial. Gets the job done and looks nice in our kitchenBought it August 21 2021Today, August 9 2022 it has stopped working.Would NOT recommend you buy this.Arrived on time in good condition. Will resubmit after six months of use.Amazon Commercial Microwave is a compact, stainless steel, countertop appliance, whose target market is most likely snack/break rooms in companies, restaurants, hotel rooms or smaller apartments. The exterior dimensions are (W x H x L) 20 x 12 x 17”. Its oven cavity dimensions are (W x H x D) 13 x 8 x 13.5”. It weighs a little over 32 pounds. It is not a smart microwave with an auto vapor sensor or turntable but a no frills, utilitarian appliance that gets the job done effectively.PROSAlthough on the smaller side, its 1000 W power output heats food quickly and efficiently. It has a convenient instant start panel with 10 preset time programs that activates the oven by pressing a single preset time key. So far, we have test heated chicken fingers, leftovers, and beverages. Heating a cup of water for tea took 2 ½ minutes. It is simple to operate. It has:• 4 power levels - Hold 0%, Defrost 20%, Medium (50%) Medium-Hi 70%., and High (100%), the default cooking power• a x2 key to double/increase cooking time for a larger portion of food• a number pad to set the cooking time with 10 preset programs (see photo)• a bright display that shows two modes: Idle Mode (interior lamp and fan are off) andStandby Mode (display and interior lamp are lit; fan runs 60 seconds before and after use)• a time entry key for manual and multiple stage cooking- a maximum of 3 stagesIt also has some well-thought-out, convenient features such as membrane control, meaning that it does not have real buttons but has areas on the membrane that you touch. You can wipe it with a sponge and not worry that water will seep into switches. The instruction booklet is clear; concise; helpful; and, though the microwave is manufactured in China, the manual has been carefully worded by a native English speaker.CONSThe microwave is heavier in the front, and the legs are unusually long to create enough space underneath the microwave to accommodate the protruding bottom of the oven cavity. (See photo.). As a result, if you open the door with a strong arm, the oven can tip slightly forward. The oven should be placed at the back of a counter, or secured to a shelf with brackets, to avoid accidentally falling off.You need to apply considerable pressure to the keys on the membrane control to start the heating.FINAL THOUGHTSRecommend! It is quick, effective, easy to use, and fair-priced. Hope these details help you to make an informed decision. This microwave is clearly more for a break room, convenience store, maybe even a group home. For 1.2 cubic feet is actually quite large and heavy - part of the commercial build. The stainless steel obviously adds to the weight but has the practical purpose of being easy to clean which is important when you have multiple users. As others have noted, this doesn't have the extra functions of a typical home microwave. No sensors on this. Heat and go for the most part. One unusual behavior, at least compared to a home microwave, is that when you open and close the door it goes into "ready" mode and the light and fan will turn on before you've done anything. This is also the case when you remove something you've heated - the light and fan continue to be on for about a minute and then turn off unless you open the door again. The 1000 watts is adequate and probably ideal for non-home use as a stronger microwave might possibly over heat food and burn customers or employees who use it. I found it took about a minute to make a cold cup of water super hot and that's more than fine. A 1200 watt microwave would have made it scalding hot.The touch panel is membrane covered and, like the stainless steel, super easy to clean. Everything about this microwave is about quick use and quick cleaning combined with a commercial design and appearance. Recommend for that purpose. Unless you run a group home or something similar don't really recommend for typical home use.
